To Speak of Home

An ongoing contemplation on understanding land, home, and belonging, this work pairs a conversation with my dad about his journey as an immigrant to Canada and images from canoeing the Deh Cho (Mackenzie River). Being on the Deh Cho was the first time I reflected on the relationship between my body and this land - I realized the paradox of calling this place home and not knowing anything about it.
